Processing purposes
Hello August vof collects and processes personal data of their customers for customer and order management purposes (including customer administration, order and delivery tracking, invoicing, solvency tracking and sending marketing and personalised advertising).

Legal ground(s) for processing
Personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6.1. [(a) consent,] [(b) (necessary for the performance of a contract),] [(c) (necessary to comply with a legal obligation)], [(f) (necessary for the purposes of the legitimate business interests)] of the General Data Protection Regulation. [So far, the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (consent), the customer shall always have the right to withdraw the consent given.]

Period of retention
The personal data processed for customer management purposes will be kept for the period necessary to fulfil the legal requirements (e.g., in the field of accounting).

Right of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and transferability of personal data
The customer has at all times the right to inspect his personal data and correct or can have them corrected if they are incorrect or incomplete, have them deleted, limit the processing and object to the processing of personal data concerning him on the basis of article 6.1 (f), including profiling on the basis of these definitions.
Besides, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, valid and machine-readable form) of his personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the customer is requested to:

• modify the settings of his customer account himself; and/or

Direct Marketing
The customer has the right to object, free of charge, to any processing of his personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.

Complaint
The customer has the right to lodge a complaint at the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels - commission@privacycommission.be).
